Unprecedented international coalition against TVB
We have initiated and are leading an unprecedented international coalition including organizations in the United States, Canada, and Hong Kong against Television Broadcasts Limited-Hong Kong (TVB). This is due to their repeated low-class and lascivious Mr. Hong Kong Contest programs broadcast in Chinese communities everywhere. Please see the attached joint statements and file complaints to relevant authorities in your respective areas.
A major part of the show was similar to a stripper show which normally only allows audience above 18 years of age, but TVB broadcast this for general audience at virtually prime time, significantly lowered the moral standard of regular TV broadcasts for general audience everywhere. This show tarnished the images of both Chinese men and women seriously and affected our youngsters deleteriously.
